Denmark Joins Porvoo

In the autumn of 2010 the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark will sign the Porvoo Declaration and become a full member of the communion. The church has held an observer status since 1996.
At a meeting on 9th December 2009 the Council on International Relations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark voted for the church to join the Porvoo Fellowship.
